Mekong Promenade

The recently renovated promenade is a popular spot for Savannakhet residents, especially in the late afternoon. People come here to play sport, chat with friends or simply admire the sunset over the Mekong. People also come to pay their respects at the Hor Mahesak Shrine near Wat Xaiyaphoume or to take a photo in front of the giant naga (see map).
